Title: Art and Science Teacher
Pay: 25$/hr
Company Location: 84 Brook Street, Manchester
About The Position:
Hours are usually from 2:50 to 6:30 pm on school days in off-site locations. We will work with your schedule and days you are available. If you are only available two days a week, that can work. We are very flexible.
Off Site Teacher (Scheduled Weekdays)
Requirements:
- Must have transportation with supply transport possibilities (a car).
- Ability to pass a background check
- Art and science background, either professionally or as a hobby. Think painting, sculpting, woodworking, ceramics, graphic design, illustration, watercolor, sketching, sewing and drawing for art and biology, physics, chemistry, engineering- we want artists and scientists!
- Strong written direction following and technology skills. We need regular email checking, use of Google Sheets and Documents. Texting is helpful, but primary job communication is via email.
Preferences:
- Well rounded science background/understanding. If you are a biologist, chemist, physicist, therapist, nurse, physician/doctor, lab technician, physical therapist, test engineer, or medical assistant looking for some extra and regular afternoon hours, this is for you.
- Experience teaching or working with children. This position can be great for stay at home moms, part time teachers or day-care providers. Even some high schoolers with experience babysitting could make great classroom assistants.
Job responsibilities:
- Retrieval and Transportation of materials to classroom
- Set up classroom
- Teach lessons to children and teenagers (age range from 2.9 yrs to 18)
- In-class demonstrations and teaching
- Take attendance
- Compliance with student allergies and other health challenges
- Lesson clean up
- Regular reporting
- Regular checking and responding of email Accepting and declining classes via digital calendar (Google Calendar)
- Tracking of hours (Gusto)
This is unlikely to evolve into full time work, but could be a long-term working relationship if the schedule still works for the hired individual. Other hours for summer camps are likely in the summer months or during local school breaks.

Title: Teaching Assistant (Internship Possible)
Pay: $20/hr
Company Location: 84 Brook Street, Manchester
About The Position:
In the Summer we will need your help in day camps. Other summer hours are likely with both in-person and remote possible.
During the school year, hours are mostly from 2:50 to 6:00pm on school days in off-site locations. We will work with your schedule and days you are available. This can be a great job for people in school.

- Must regularly arrive on time
- Ability to pass several background checks
