We all know how wonderful they are to play with, but we know we can push the many different kinds beyond the normal Youtube scientist. This class is a long time favorite! This program is for NH students only. Students may sign up until 2/26 at 5pm. You will have to pick up the supplies 2/26 and 3/1 from our Manchester NH studio . Late sign-ups mean we can't pack your supplies and arrange for you to pick them up. All payment must be made via Credit Card on the site by this date. You may sign up late, but will not receive supplies until the following week. We pack all kits ourselves and then sterilize the insides using our UV Sterilizer.   Class is limited to 10 students!

    $15 a class X 8 weeks = $120! All supplies included! This series will focus on teaching about recycled art, found objects, environmental protection and self-confidence. We will collect and use trash, leaves, rocks, grocery bags, jars, water bottles and toilet paper rolls to make amazing art over the course weeks. Each lesson discusses the environment, recycling, our impact on nature and affordable art. This series has a strong mental health component. The course is non-cumulative, so missing a class isn't a big deal. We make observations, ask questions, design and conduct scientific investigations while discussing the results of our investigations. This class fulfills all learning objectives for the Manchester City Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade Science Process Skills under SPS1: Scientific Inquiry and Critical Thinking Skills (INQ), SPS2: Unifying Concepts of Science and SPS3: Personal, Social, and Technological Perspectives (Includes Design).  Please see the SAU 37 Science Curriculum PDF. Classes are on 4/5, 4/12, 4/19, 5/3, 5/10,  5/17,  5/24, and 6/7 from 4pm to 4:50pm Eastern Time via an online classroom. Please note: No classes on 4/26, and 5/13. These are Manchester School Vacation Days. Local students may sign up until 4/1 at 5pm. Students in Kindergarten-2nd grade will need a parent's help setting up and some attention throughout the class. 3rd-6th grade is the target age range for the class and will be able to set up, participate and clean up on their own. 7th+ grade can have a lot of fun in this class, but most of the scientific concepts covered will not be new.  It can still be a a lot of fun making creative recycled projects for older students.

Please note, no classes on 4/27.  This is a Manchester City Holiday. This class fulfills all learning objectives for the Manchester City Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade Science Process Skills under SPS1: Scientific Inquiry and Critical Thinking Skills (INQ), SPS2: Unifying Concepts of Science and SPS3: Personal, Social, and Technological Perspectives (Includes Design).  Please see the SAU 37 Science Curriculum PDF. Students will build projects around human anatomy including brains, skulls, gingerbread zombies, x-Ray hands, working lungs and a decomposition themed Slime! The course is non-cumulative, and students may be substituted until the class is full.  It is a favorite at Manchester City Schools. We make observations, ask questions, design and conduct scientific investigations while discussing the results of our investigations. Local students may sign up until 4/9 at 5pm. Supplies are provided via contact-less pick up from our studio in downtown Manchester or by 21st Century if your school is enrolled. That's right, HALF OFF!   Using self-built rockets and paper lanterns students will explore the classifications of different space objects. Aside from the week when we build and launch rockets, this course is non-cumulative, and students will not be hurt by missing a class.

Classes are on Saturday mornings- 3/13, 3/20, 3/27, 4/3, 4/10, 4/17, 4/24  from 10:30 am to 11:30 am Eastern Time via an online classroom. This is a long-time fan asked-for remote class.  It started out as alternative slimes but ended up too gross for some people.  If you student likes farts, worms, poop, maggots, dog drool and playing practical jokes, this is the learning environment for you. It is also a favorite of class clowns, as we will create realistic looking fake poop and urine. Every kid goes through that time where everything coming out of a butt is funny and this class is for that special time in their lives. We give them an outlet where they can push the edges of societies niceties with regards to bodily functions as well as equipping them to go out into the real world and talk about them in a way that doesn't offend. Mostly though, we give them an outlet so you don't have to. This program is for NH students only. Students may sign up until 3/10 at 5pm.
