Auburn Village Mythical Creatures (MS)

$100.00

11 in stock

What kinds of monsters live in the sea?

Where did the idea of dragons come from? Why do cultures across the globe from one another have dragon myths?

Do we still have unknown creatures today?

$20 a class X 5 weeks = $100! On sale from $25 a class until January 1st!

Classes are on 1/8, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5 & 2/19 from 2:30-3:30 pm in a classroom that follows whatever CDC guidelines are for whatever is going on at whatever time it is.

This is for Auburn Village Elementary School Students who get excited over things that go bump in the night.

The things that live in our closets and under our beds.

“There be monsters here.” The unknown is forever unveiled through science. But while still shielded in mystery, cultures have long come to conclusions about what the natural world around them was. Beautiful stories, drawings and maps resulted in today’s known myths, such as Unicorns, Mermaids, Krakens and Dragons. We explore historical scientific unknowns with sculpture, paint, fabric and movement. What are today’s unknowns that we have created stories around?

Late sign-ups mean we can’t pack your supplies and get them into my car in time. All payment must be made via Credit Card on the site by the end of business on January 7th.

We pack all supplies ourselves and sterilize supplies between uses with a commercial UV Sterilizer.

If school must close for non weather related reasons, we will arrange for supply delivery and the lesson will be conducted remotely.

If class is called off with less than 2 weeks notice, the cost of the class cannot be reimbursed because we have already packed the lesson, prepped the supplies and contracted for the instructor and assistant’s time. Thank you for understanding.
