Auburn Village Sustainability (Middle School)

This is for Auburn Village Middle School Students interested in all things recycling!

$20 a class X 8 weeks = $160! On sale from $25 a class until September 6th!

Classes are on 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25 & 11/1from 2:35 to 3:35 pm.  in a classroom that follows whatever CDC guidelines are for whatever is going on at whatever time it is. When the weather is nice, we will be going outside to find supplies in the woods and going outside to pick up trash. The things we find will be used in our creations.

Sustainability will focus on recycled art, found objects, environmental protection and self-confidence. We will collect and use trash, leaves, rocks, grocery bags, jars, water bottles and toilet paper rolls to make amazing art over the course weeks. Each lesson discusses the environment, recycling, our impact on nature and affordable art. There is a heavy focus on the reuse side of the reduce, reuse recycle triangle.  The course is non-cumulative, and if you need to miss a day it isn’t a big deal.

Late sign-ups mean we can’t pack your supplies and get them into my car in time. All payment must be made via Credit Card on the site by the end of September 10th.

We pack all supplies ourselves and sterilize supplies between uses with a commercial UV Sterilizer.

If school must close for non weather related reasons, we will arrange for supply delivery and the lesson will be conducted remotely.

I need your permission to take photos and video of your child engaged in classroom activities. I will not sell the photos. I will post photos or video Online, making comments about their progress or promoting the company. By checking below, you agree to letting me use photographs and video taken in the class.

By checking the “Yes, Take and Use Photographs” checkbox, I give my consent that photos/video of my child, named above, involved in classroom activities, can be taken for use by Amber Nicole Cannan and Unchartered Tutoring. I understand that students may be identified by their first name or whatever name used to sign on to the online classroom, when online for pandemic reasons.

License plate numbers ensure quick and easy pick up of students after class. If the plate does not match, we will require ID for persons listed below.

We will be checking ID to ensure students go home with the right person. License plates are faster, but we understand that particular cars may not be available.
