North End Montessori Gross Science (PreK & K)

This is for North End Montessori Students in Classrooms 1-5.

Does your student want to talk about poop all the time?

Are you confused about skibbity toilet?

Is snot a constant in your house?

Let’s give your student a space to share all of their gross thoughts.

Classes are on 2/12, 2/19, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, 3/26, 4/9 & 4/16 (2/26 NO SCHOOL) in the morning and in a classroom that follows whatever CDC guidelines are for whatever is going on at whatever time it is.

This is for students without a squeamish bone in their bodies. We will work with fake poop, blood, pee and real bones. We will make slime, germs and snot. Don’t worry, we make soap, too, and learn about virus and bacteria transfer. Proper scientific terms for bodily functions will be discussed as well as why understanding these bodily functions is important. Every week results in a take-home “experiment!

Late sign-ups mean we can’t pack your supplies and get them into my car in time. All payment must be made via Credit Card on the site by the end of 2/10.

If school must close for non weather related reasons, we will arrange for supply delivery and the lesson will be conducted remotely.

If class is called off with less than 2 weeks notice, the cost of the class cannot be reimbursed because we have already packed the lesson, prepped the supplies and contracted for the instructor and assistant’s time. Thank you for understanding.
