DESCRIPTION:Booking description:\nThe Portfolio Development Course\, being offered on Thursdays from 4:00-5:00\, is ideal for students with an interest in developing art as a life-long hobby or career.  Students will be guided to pursue their own artistic study through a series of assignments focused on their chosen focus. There is no age limit for this study\, but students are expected to have a certain level of maturity exhibited with focus\, completion of outside assignments and self discipline. \n \nIf your student is considering a career in arts\, they need to start developing their portfolio for college acceptance by their Junior year of High School. Portfolios are required for acceptance to art school and must demonstrate skill and understanding of basic art principles and elements. Since Unchartered Tutoring only uses college professors for instruction\, you can be sure your student is receiving assignments and instruction aimed at acceptance to top art programs. Additionally\, these portfolios are what secures scholarship for your student.
