Gross Science: Bodily Functions
Science is gross. That’s why kids love it.
Dates: 12/02, 12/09, 12/16, 01/06, 01/13, 01/20, 01/27
What makes snot useful? How do astronauts use the bathroom? Why is blood red? What actually makes us sick?
If your child asks delightfully disgusting questions, they’ll fit right in.
Gross Science explores the incredible systems inside the human body using hands-on art projects, experiments, fake bodily fluids, models, and just enough “ewww!” to keep everyone laughing while learning.
Students discover:
- how germs spread
- why washing hands actually works
- what blood does
- how digestion happens
- why mucus exists
- how our immune system keeps us healthy
Each week students create something memorable to bring home while building a surprisingly strong understanding of biology, anatomy, and health.
Parents often tell us this class leads to some very entertaining dinner conversations.
Warning: your child may suddenly become the family expert on poop.
$20/class for 7 weeks = $140
On sale through November 18! Save $35 off the regular price of $25/class ($175).
