Slime: The Fan Favorite

Stretch it. Squish it. Glow it. Question everything.

If your child has ever begged to make slime at home, this is the class they’ve been waiting for.

Over eight weeks, students become junior scientists while creating an ever-growing collection of slime, oobleck, quicksand, glowing creations, magnetic experiments, and other wonderfully weird concoctions. Every project is secretly teaching real chemistry and physics while students are simply convinced they’re having the best Wednesday afternoon ever.

Along the way we’ll investigate questions like:

• Is quicksand actually real?
• Why do magnets work?
• How do smells travel through the air?
• Why do some things glow in the dark?
• What makes slime stretchy instead of runny?

Every class includes a brand new take-home creation and another reason to tell you all about science during the ride home.

This is our longest-running and most requested STEM class for kids, and many students come back year after year because the projects keep changing.
