  • Private lessons are for: Introverts, Focus Challenged Individuals, Goal-Oriented Achievers, Nervous Producers, Lone-Wolves, Oversocialized Kids, Octopus Moms and Carpool Driving Dads- are you looking to establish some me-time that grows your creativity? Are you or your student is considering a career in arts. Do you simply enjoy making things? This is the lesson for you. Individual instruction will be crafted with whatever creative goals the student has in mind, be it set/costume design, digital arts, graphic design, painting, drawing, sculpture or robotic arts. The first lesson will be a sit-down where our instructor, Amber Nicole Cannan, evaluates the goals and artistic level of the interested student. A lesson plan is developed with these things in mind and then embarked on.  A regular meeting in our downtown Manchester studio will be scheduled.   To Book:
    • Select the date and then the time you would like to purchase and fill in the required information.

    • To add more than one lesson at a time (Highly recommended, as we can book quickly) select the next date and time, and fill in the information again.

    Please book as many lessons in advance (up to 6 months) as you are able.  This keeps your regular spot reserved when you want it. Lessons may be booked once a week, twice a week, once a month or three times a day- whatever works for your schedule.     Wednesday classes are for Kids and Adults Tuesdays are for Adults only. (Adults need safe spaces too!) Classes happen every Wednesday and Tuesday. The first Week of each month is the Demo night and the following weeks are workshop nights where Amber Nicole helps you with your individual struggles. If there are more than 4 weeks in a month, we take the 5th off.  
  • Because people asked for it, here is where you can donate money to Unchartered.  We are a for-profit LLC, so any donations are not tax-deductible. We hope to one day start a non-profit, but right now our efforts are focused on transitioning to the online learning environment.   Donations can be made in $5 increments, simply add the number of $5 increments you would like to donate. You can also mail us a check and avoid the credit card transaction fees. Our address is on our contact page.    
  • $15 a class X 8 weeks = $120! On sale from $20 a class until September 3rd! (Amber Nicole's birthday, in case anyone is wondering) Classes are on 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28 from 3:10pm to 4:10 m Eastern Time in a Physically distanced classroom while all participants wear masks. (Until the CDC says otherwise) Students may sign up until 9/7 at 5pm. (I need time to let the office know) Late sign-ups mean we can't pack your supplies and arrange for you to pick them up. All payment must be made via Credit Card on the site by this date. We pack all supplies ourselves and sterilize supplies between uses with a commercial UV Sterilizer. Students will build planets, make them spin, make moons, and gas giants, explore making things glow, light up and even build and launch a rocket! YES a real rocket! The classes are non-cumulative, so it isn't a big deal if you miss one or two. If school must close for Covid infection, we will arrange for supply delivery and the lesson will be conducted remotely.

    2021 Summer Camp is here!

    Sign up for a daily, week-long experience! Your student will take Unchartered's Summer offerings in our Downtown Studio Space in Manchester, New Hampshire.  Class size is limited to 6 students. The last day to sign up for this class is August 6th, so we can order enough supplies. Students learn paint-pouring, mixing, surface tension constraints, how to mix two part epoxy and resin, making molds, pouring molds, multi color pours, powder mixing, glitter and resin mixing and any thing else they can possibly think of. Meals are not provided, and students will need to bring their own boxed lunches and water bottles.  Refrigeration, microwaves, hot and cold water will be available. Choose the class based upon the grade your child will be attending for the 2021-2022 school year. This camp is ideal for 3rd through 8th grade. If your student is younger or older, just email me and we will discuss if it is a good fit. Younger is about attention span an interest, older is about attitude and interest. If your student is older, has attended any previous Summer Camp with Unchartered and wants to attend, they may. Please print and fill out this PDF permission slip.     2021 Summer Camp is here!

    Sign up for a daily, week-long experience! Your student will take Unchartered's Summer offerings in our new studio space in Downtown Manchester, New Hampshire.  Class size is limited, so sign up ASAP. This camp will follow whatever the most current CDC guidelines are. At the time of this writing, that means students will be required to mask at all times, except for eating. Eating will be done outside to prevent potential Covid Spread. Hand washing will be required upon entering, before and after eating and at the end of the day. Students will be kept 6 ft apart while in studio and working. Air flow will be encouraged to the best of our ability. For added safety, outside play will also be masked unless 12 ft from another individual. This is a course for the science or art minded. If your student loves a particular type of science, just let us know and we will incorporate it. Learning from a real biomedical artist, students will take a deep dive into the world of scientific illustration, documentation, entomology, paleontology, biology, botany and just plain old science! We will use magnifying glasses, microscopes, plant, animal and fungi samples, remains and document them in as many visual ways as possible. Space is limited to 6 participants at a time. Additional daily activities are designed to wake up their brains, feed their creative side and infuse their lives with every day creativity. These additional activities will include local downtown park visits, garden sketching learning about the color and the world of comic arts. Emphasis will be placed on self-started creativity the students can take home and continue practicing. Meals are not provided, and students will need to bring their own boxed lunches and water bottles.  Refrigeration, microwaves, hot and cold water will be available. Choose the class based upon the grade your child will be attending for the 2021-2022 school year. This camp is for 3rd through 8th grade. Exceptions can absolutely be made for particularly interested students. Please reach out with any questions. Please print and fill out this PDF permission slip. Permission Slip Dates: 7/12/2021-7/16/2021 (If this week books up, the following week will be opened for purchase) Time: 8:00 am-5:00 pm   If something should happen and the CDC or the State of NH declare it unsafe for camps to occur in person, the camp will switch to an online format. If it should be canceled, you will be refunded the full amount. If you would rather your student participate, but online only, we can accommodate that, as well. Breaks outside will not be able to be done with the group, but we will accommodate remote learners wherever possible.
