This class fulfills all learning objectives for the Manchester City Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade Science Process Skills under SPS1: Scientific Inquiry and Critical Thinking Skills (INQ), SPS2: Unifying Concepts of Science and SPS3: Personal, Social, and Technological Perspectives (Includes Design).  Please see the SAU 37 Science Curriculum PDF. Students will build projects around human anatomy including brains, skulls, gingerbread zombies, x-Ray hands, working lungs and a decomposition themed Slime! The course is non-cumulative, and students may be substituted until the class is full.  It is a favorite at Manchester City Schools. We make observations, ask questions, design and conduct scientific investigations while discussing the results of our investigations. Local students may sign up until 11/28 at 5pm. Supplies are provided via contact-less pick up from our studio in downtown Manchester. Students requiring shipping may sign up until 11/23 at 5pm. This gives us time to ship your supplies. Late sign-ups mean we can't pack your supplies and arrange for you to pick them up. All payment must be made via Credit Card on the site by this date. You may sign up late, but will not receive supplies until the following week. We pack all kits ourselves and then sterilize the insides using our UV Sterilizer.

Classes are on 12/3, 12/10, 12/17, 1/7, 1/14, 1/21 from 3:10 to 4:10 at Mount Zion Christian Schools.   Students will make gifts they can give to people in their lives. Grandparents, friends, cousins… maybe even parents if you can let them work on their own! They will make these gifts while learning STEM concepts associated with grids, distribution, symmetry, 2D VS 3D space and a smidgen of art history.   You may sign up until 12/2 at 5pm. We need time to let the office know your student is attending. Late sign-ups mean we can't let the office know you are attending. All payment must be made via Credit Card on the site by this date. We pack all kits ourselves and then sterilize the insides using our UV Sterilizer.   Masks are required and provided for your student. Additionally, if Mount Zion sends students home for remote learning, the class will still occur via Zoom. The office will ensure your student gets their kit. Unchartered also reserves the right to switch to a remote teacher model should Covid-19 numbers in NH/Manchester climb. Mount Zion has indicated they will accommodate this change by providing a screen equipped classroom and an in person aide to oversee the class in person if it becomes necessary. Amber Nicole really misses the students, but only has one Kidney.  While she is not at greater risk of catching the disease, she is more likely to end up on dialysis if she does. Class is limited to 15 students.

We conducted this course virtually as a Summer Camp and it was quite successful!  This will be the first time this class is offered in an after school setting!     Masks are required and provided for your student.   • $15 a class X 8 weeks = $120! This series will focus on recycled art, found objects, environmental protection and self-confidence. We will collect and use trash, leaves, rocks, grocery bags, jars, water bottles and toilet paper rolls to make amazing art over the course weeks. Each lesson discusses the environment, recycling, our impact on nature and affordable art. This series has a strong mental health component. The course is non-cumulative, so missing a class isn't a big deal. We make observations, ask questions, design and conduct scientific investigations while discussing the results of our investigations. Students in Kindergarten-2nd grade will need a parent's help setting up and some attention throughout the class. 3rd-6th grade is the target age range for the class and will be able to set up, participate and clean up on their own. 7th+ grade can have a lot of fun in this class, but most of the scientific concepts covered will not be new.  It can still be a a lot of fun making creative recycled projects for older students.

We hope to one day start a non-profit, but right now our efforts are focused on transitioning to the online learning environment.   Donations can be made in $5 increments, simply add the number of $5 increments you would like to donate.     Classes happen every Friday. The first Friday of each month is the Demo night and the following Fridays are Workshop nights where Amber Nicole helps you with your individual struggles.  
  • Remote Private lessons for: Introverts, Focus Challenged Individuals, Goal-Oriented Achievers, Nervous Producers, Lone-Wolves, Oversocialized Kids, Octopus Moms and Carpool Driving Dads- are you looking to establish some me-time that grows your creativity? Are you or your student is considering a career in arts. Do you simply enjoy making things? This is the lesson for you. Individual instruction will be crafted with whatever creative goals the student has in mind, be it set/costume design, digital arts, graphic design, painting, drawing, sculpture or robotic arts. The first lesson will be a sit-down where our instructor, Amber Nicole Cannan, evaluates the goals and artistic level of the interested student. A lesson plan is developed with these things in mind and then embarked on.  A regular meeting in our downtown Manchester studio will be scheduled.   To Book:
