This time, we’re bringing a space-themed series to Mont Vernon Village School students in the Greater Nashua YMCA aftercare program. Using LEDs, paper lanterns, paint, sand, rocks and gemstones, kids will explore the wonders of the sky and create a take-home project every week. Bonus: If they miss a class, no worries—this course is flexible and non-cumulative!

  • Calling all Polaris students fascinated by living things! Every week, we’ll dive into an exciting comparison between two creatures or organisms that might look alike but are actually very different. Think lizards vs. salamanders, jellyfish vs. octopus, plants vs. fungi, and more! Activities alternate between 3D and 2D projects—like making a slime that mimics the texture of shark and whale skin for a fun comparison. Hands-on learning means you’ll really remember what you learn!

    Program Details:

    • Dates: Wednesdays - Jan 8, 15, 22, 29, Feb 5, and 12
    • Time: 1:15 - 2:15 pm (students go straight from class)
    • Location: Polaris Charter School
    • Class Size: Limited to 15 students

This is an anatomy and physiology class. We've just "skinned" it to be about zombies, because they conveniently wear their bodies without skin, so we can see inside! There will be BRAINS skulls, gingerbread zombies, BRAINS, x-Ray hands, BRAINS, BRAINS, working lungs and BRAINS! The course is non-cumulative, so missing a class or two isn't a big big deal.  It is a favorite at most schools.   Late sign-ups mean we can't pack your supplies and get them into my car in time.   • Siblings, Couples, Spouses, Bosom Buddies, BFFs, Sisters, Brothers, Twins, Partners, Frienemies, Colleagues, Roommates, Partners in Crime, Parent-Child Pairs, and Business Partners this is the art lesson for you. If you or your student/friend is considering a career in arts, or simply enjoys making things, this is the lesson for you two. Individual instruction will be crafted with whatever creative goals each student has in mind, be it set/costume design, digital arts, graphic design, painting, drawing, sculpture or robotic arts. If you can think of the art, we can help you with it. The first lesson will be a sit-down where our instructor, Amber Nicole Cannan, evaluates the goals and artistic level of the interested students. A lesson plan is developed with these things in mind and then embarked on. To Book:
    • Select the date and then the time you would like to purchase and fill in the required information.
    • Click "Book Now" and that date and time will be added to your shopping cart.
    • To add more than one lesson at a time (Highly recommended, as we can book quickly) select the next date and time, and fill in the information again.
    • Click "Book Now" and that date and time will be added to your shopping cart. Do this until all the dates you wish to purchase are in your shopping cart.
    • When you are done, click on the shopping cart in the upper right.
    • When all the products display, click "Proceed to Checkout" and follow the payment prompts.  Your lesson will be booked when payment is received.
    Please book as many lessons in advance (up to 6 months) as you are able.  This keeps your regular spot reserved when you want it. Lessons may be booked once a week, twice a week, once a month or three times a day- whatever works for your schedule. Use the discount code 4ORMORE when booking four or more lessons at a time.

    Giving the gift of Science and Art, but don't know what they might like, specifically? Give a Gift Card!   This gift card can be used towards any Unchartered class or product listed on the website. Gift Cards can be used for one year from date of purchase. Select the amount you can afford and fill out the information. Within one week, we will create a custom gift card you can print at home or we can print and mail to you. The gift card will contain a code the recipient can use at checkout to book whatever product or class they wish. It can be used multiple times until depleted.
  • Because people asked for it, here is where you can donate money to Unchartered.  We are a for-profit LLC, so any donations are not tax-deductible. We hope to one day start a non-profit, but right now our efforts are focused on transitioning to the online learning environment.   Donations can be made in $5 increments, simply add the number of $5 increments you would like to donate. You can also mail us a check and avoid the credit card transaction fees. Our address is on our contact page.
